Zinc-bromine secondary battery
Abstract
A zinc-bromine secondary battery with circulating aqueous electrolyte showed 80% over-all (round-trip) energy efficiency at a current density of 20 mA/sq cm for 10 hr charge and 10 hr discharge cycles. The battery characteristics may be attractive for load leveling and other applications if a low cost separator is developed.
