Critical Exponents in the Frustrated Heisenberg Antiferromagnet with Layered-Triangular Lattice: VBr2
Abstract
Strong divergence of the magnetic heat capacity with the critical exponents α{=}0.59± 0.05 and α'{=}0.28± 0.05 has been found in the isotropic Heisenberg spin system with layered triangular lattice, VBr2, which gives an experimental support to the proposal of a new universality class of the critical exponents for frustrated systems.
