Emergence of generalized seniority in low-lying states with random interactions
Abstract
We study the generalized seniority properties of the low-lying states of two semimagic pseudonuclei O22 and Ca46 in the presence of one- and two-body random interactions. When the single-particle splittings are sufficiently large, S-pair correlation is found to be important in the low-lying states of these systems in the presence of random interactions.
