An atlas of QSO spectra.
Abstract
Low dispersion optical spectra are presented for 295 QSO candidates. While this is believed to be the first large scale publication of QSOs having a wide range of redshifts, it is noted that the data are neither complete nor unbiased. The spectra are presented in order of increasing right ascension as plots of spectral flux density, in units of ergs/sq cm per sec per Hz, versus wavelength in angstroms. The wavelength range of the plots is always 3000 to 7650 A, although no single spectrum covers the entire range.
