IRIS : what can it do for you ?
Abstract
This paper describes the new infrared camera/spectrograph, IRIS, that started operating at the Anglo-Australian Telescope in early 1991. The use of IRIS in the areas of broadband imaging, narrowband imaging, spectroscopy, and spectral imaging are briefly addressed. Sample IRIS data in these areas are presented.
