Structural and thermal icy satellite models - Preliminary results
Abstract
Structural models of icy satellites under conditions like those of the outer solar system are developed under the assumption of hydrostatic equilibrium and employed in thermal-evolution simulations covering 4.5 Gyr for the Saturnian and Uranian satellites. The results are presented in graphs and characterized, with comparison of the relevant observational data.
