The time scale of decimetre flux density variations.
Abstract
The time scale of decimeter flux-density variations in 46 extragalactic radio sources is examined. It is shown that most of these sources vary significantly within 2 years and that the most rapid variations are observed in two QSOs that have changed 40% within a few months. The properties of the fastest variable, the QSO 1504-166, are briefly summarized.
