Gravitational lens effect of a moving black hole.
Abstract
Four figures are presented illustrating the gravitational lens effect of a moving black hole on light from a distant star. The first figure shows deflection and changes in the brightness of a distant star caused by a massive nearby black hole. The other three diagrams show what happens to light deflection and changes in brightness if the distance of the black hole is varied, if the angular distance between the black hole and the distant star is varied, and if the mass of the black hole is varied.
