Liquid jet directionality and droplet behavior during emulsification of two liquids due to acoustic cavitation
Abstract
A liquid jet of acoustic cavitation near a droplet was investigated numerically. The liquid-jet strength becomes strong with increase of ultrasonic pressure amplitude. The liquid-jet direction depends on the material of droplet. The directionality of liquid jet can be explained by the location of high-pressure spot.
