Photoelectrocatalytic degradation of oxalic acid using WO3 and stratified WO3/TiO2 photocatalysts under sunlight illumination
Abstract
WO3 and stratified WO3/TiO2 electrodes prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis method. Improved charge separation occurs in the stratified WO3/TiO2 electrodes than WO3. The enhanced degradation rate of oxalic acid occurs in stratified WO3/TiO2 than WO3. The stratified WO3/TiO2 electrodes showed good stability under sunlight illumination.
