Chiral Magnetic Effect and Gravitational Waves in the View of Big Bang Nucleosynthesis
Abstract
The magnetohydrodynamical (MHD) turbulence associated with chiral magnetic effect (CME) in the early universe produces circularly polarized stochastic gravitational wave (GW) background [1-3]. The Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN) and Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) observation constrain lepton asymmetry in the early universe [4-8]. We examine a) the viability of magnetic fields generation by CME with Fermi observations of distant blazars' spectra [9], and b) the GWs detection prospects through ground and space based missions considering constraints imposed by baryogenesis data [10-12].
