Improving FOF galaxy group finder

The identification of galaxy groups allows us to link the galaxies with the halos in which they reside and, in this way, link their formation and evolution with the large-scale structure of the Universe. For this reason, it is necessary to have group finders as accurate as possible. Here we present a work in progress on an algorithm that improves the performance of Friends-of-Friends identifications by including halo-based technique.
