Evolution of the magnetic field at comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko
Abstract
We use observations made by the magnetometer onboard Rosetta to describe the magnetic field's evolution depending on the gas production rate and Rosetta's location in the plasma environment on time scales of years. This large data set also allows to draw conclusions pertaining to the influence of the solar wind and cometary neutral environment on the magnetic field.
