The dynamical evolution of G-type main sequence binaries.
Abstract
The authors will speak about the dynamical evolution of AMLOSC binaries. AMLOSC binaries are defined as angular momentum losing binaries with orbit-spin coupling. They limit theirselves to the main-sequence group. The AML is produced by stellar winds trapped by magnetic fields. The OSC may have different origins. The authors mainly consider the mechanism of turbulent friction in the convective zone without neglecting however alternative solutions. The components of AMLOSC binaries continuously approach each other until contact is reached. The dynamical evolution of the rotation of the components and the of the orbital revolutuion is given. The comparison between observations and theory is discussed.
