On the interconnection of wave processes in the F region and mesopause.
Abstract
Results of an analysis of vertical ionosphere sounding data and optical measurements of the radiation of the upper atmosphere proper are reported. The oscillation periods recorded on the basis of temperature fluctuations and variations of the intensity of hydroxyl luminescence at the mesopause level are found to exist over the entire thickness of the F2 layer.
