The preheating of solar flares and reconnection
Abstract
We discuss the preheating phase of solar flares trigerred by emerging magnetic flux. We consider the development of microinstabilities inside the diffusion region during the emergence process and propose four different types of reconnection, by which we are able to interpret the preheating, as well as the impulsive phase of flares.
