The internal rotation of the Sun.
Abstract
Recent results on the internal rotation of the Sun are difficult to explain. These problems are reviewed and it is conjectured that a 3He driven mixed shell near 0.3 R_sun; magnetically separates the inner core from the outer regions. Such a shell may rotate differentially and may separate a more rapidly spinning core from the rest of the Sun.
