Models of the solar convective zone.
Abstract
Models of the solar convective zone consistent with Abraham's and Eben's model of the internal solar structure on the inner boundary, and HSRA, HOLMU, VAL 80 semi-empirical models and Nelson's (1978) theoretical two-dimensional model on the outer boundary were obtained on the basis of the mixing length theory. Calculated velocities of rising convective elements were compared with the observed ones.
