Simultaneous measurements of Ca+ K, Ca+ H, Hα, Hβ, and He D3 emission in prominences
Abstract
Simultaneously measured line intensities of Ca+ K and H, Hα, Hβ and He D3 are presented and compared with recent model calculations by Heasley and Milkey (1978). The model calculations are compatible with the observations. There is indication that the observed branching of the relation E(Ca+ K and H) ∼ E(Hβ) depends on the widths of the Ca+-lines.
