Taylor transforms and their application in electrical engineering and electronics
Abstract
The book is devoted to the analysis and explanation of a method of reducing differential equations to algebraic equations by replacing all functions by Taylor power series. Although the basic idea of this method has been around for a long time, it is shown how one can set up rules and formulas so that one can actually speak of a Taylor calculus in analogy with operational calculus. Basically, one passes from the original system to its Taylor transform, solves the algebraic equations, and passes back to the primitive by means of the inverse transform. The applications of the method to electronic circuit analysis and design are covered, and some questions related to modeling the Taylor equations on computer are addressed.
