A very distant globular cluster?
Abstract
Summary. A faint object, which is well resolved into individual stars, has been discovered at cc =1 h49m0 a = 44042 (t950). It is probably a very distant globular cluster; if so, the distance is estimated at about tOO kpc, the inner diameter is around tOO pc. The structure is rather loose. Further observations, in particular photometric, are desirable. Key-words: globular cluster-local galaxy grou Magellanic Stream
