Vincent Ledvina

Vincent Ledvina is a first-year space physics Ph.D. student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks researching the aurora. Vincent grew up in Minnesota and has been pursuing a career in space weather since high school after becoming hooked on aurora chasing and night sky photography. He is passionate about citizen science and engaging the public in space weather and aurora research, sharing his photos and teaching how to chase the aurora to over 500,000 followers across various social media platforms. Vincent is committed to helping the public better understand science and he is excited to be representing NASA Science Explorer (SciX)!

Additional communities in which Vincent is involved include: Space Weather Workshop Organizing Committee, CEDAR Student Steering Committee, Aurorasaurus Ambassador, and American Geophysical Union.
